You'll sleep with your two eyes closed, Fintiri tells Adamawa people

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has said that in line with his government's decision to make security its top priority; he will always ensure that citizens sleep with their two eyes closed.

He said he made a priority of security maintenance because of his realisation of its importance and that he remains as committed to it as when he first took office more than three and a half years ago.

Fintiri made the remark when he and a top philanthropist in Adamawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, received merit awards from the state command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for their contribution to security assurance.

'You will always sleep with your two eyes closed; you will have no security worries,' Fintiri said in a message to the event.

The commander of the NIS in Adamawa State, Mohammed Falali, who is leaving service after 35 years in the NIS, described Fintiri as an example to other governors on security issues.
