Two killed as drug lord renounces cultism in Osun

There was palpable tension in Oke-Baale area of Osogbo capital of Osun State on Friday when a drug lord simply named 'Kokoro' renounced his membership from a confraternity group he belonged to.

The Nation gathered that the drug kingpin renounced his membership of the unnamed cult group early this week but the renunciation did not sit well with other members, hence, they threatened him.

A source who pleaded anonymity told our correspondent that, 'the drug lord decided to face his drug business instead of getting involved in violence across the state. He renounced his membership because he felt he already has a gang so he doesn't need any fraternity to move around with.
