Thugs attack Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Ilesa

The campaign office of former Osun State Commissioner for Works and Transport Remi Omowaye in Ilesa was yesterday attacked by suspected Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP's) thugs.

There were signs of gunshots at different places on the premises of the office, as the main door, glass windows, billboards and flags of the All Progressives Congress (APC), among other items, were damaged.

Another set of suspected PDP thugs also attacked Sunkanmi Obisesan, the Chief of Staff (CoS) to Osun State Speaker Timothy Owoeye.

He was attacked at Ifofin in Ilesa. He has been taken to Wesley Hospital, Ilesa, following the injury he sustained.

The attacks occurred less than 24 hours after the PDP-led government was accused of planning to unleash violence on ex-Governor Adegboyega Oyetola's men.
