Tambuwal creates six new ministries

SOKOTO state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has created six additional ministries to strengthen the state public service for effective and better service delivery.

Similarly, the governor simultaneously reassigned some members of the state executive council to oversee the newly approved ministries.

They include Technology and Digital Economy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Welfare, Internal Security, Transport, and; Industry, Trade and Investment.

Accordingly to a release by the Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Publicity, Muhammad Bello, Dr Kulu Haruna Abubakar, the Commissioner for Science and Technical Education will oversee the Ministry of Technology and Digital Economy; Aminu Ibrahim will be in charge of Innovation and...
