Sanwo-Olu: pray for repose of fallen heroes' souls

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged residents to offer prayers for the repose of the souls of fallen heroes and the bereaved families.

He spoke while addressing Christian leaders, serving and retired military personnel and members of the Nigerian Legion, during an Interdenominational Divine Service held at Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa to commemorate the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

'Let me take this opportunity to ask Lagosians to offer prayers for the repose of souls of fallen heroes, who have laid down their lives for the sovereignty and peace of this country,' the governor said.
