Sanwo-Olu, Oniru restates need for press freedom

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and The Oniru of Iru Land, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal has reiterated the necessity of press freedom for Nigeria's democracy to thrive. The duo said this recently at the formal opening of Adamimogo 93.1 FM Radio Station in Lekki, which has a live and recording studio founded by the Planter of Christ Apostolic Church, Grace and Mercy Prayer Mountain, Prophet Sam Olu Alo.

Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the state's Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, saluted the courage of Prophet Alo in founding the radio station, charged the management of the radio station to be the light for the people either in the area of the gospel or disseminating actual news.
