'Phenomenal Tinubu will win at first ballot'

Aformer governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Cross River State, David Okon, has predicted that All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who he described as a phenomenon, will win at first ballot.

Okon is the Chairman of the APC Elders Forum as well as that of Tinubu Support Groups in the state.

Speaking during the inauguration of state, senatorial and local government coordinators of Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council for Cross River iin Calabar, he said Tinubu's massive grassroots support and formidable antecedents would give him victory after the first round of voting with no need for a runoff.

He said: 'I have said this on several occasions without any equivocation that Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate will win in first ballot.
