Osun youths, students canvass votes for Tinubu/Shettima

Youths and students across Osun State have embarked on door-to-door campaign to canvass for votes from older residents ahead of next month's presidential election.

They said negative narratives would not affect the chances of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

The Chairman, Directorate of Youth and Student Mobilisation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Osun State chapter, Mr. David Asalu, in his opening address during the special interaction of youths and students mobilisation for Asiwaju Tinubu and Sen. Shettima in Osogbo, said: 'We have embarked on serious legwork to convince older people that Asiwaju's project is the best for Nigeria at this time in our history. This requires that we all become door-to-door canvassers for Asiwaju and Shettima.'

He urged leaders across the 332 wards to engage in massive publicity for the APC presidential candidate and collective rebuttal of the negative narratives against him and his running mate.
