Ondo Amotekun nabs 150 suspects in Operation Gba'le Gba'ko

Ondo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun Corps said it arrested 150 suspected criminals in its Operation Gba'le Gba'ko' during the yuletide.

It said its border patrol team apprehended six trucks that were hijacked by criminals, and the goods returned to the owners in Akure.

Corps Commander and Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Adetunji Adeleye, said 16 suspected kidnappers were arrested before they concluded plans to carry out the act.

Adeleye said no violent crime was recorded in the state throughout the Christmas and New Year's celebration.
