Monarch, Arewa leaders unite for peaceful elections

Ahead of next month's elections, the Onishasha of Shasha in Alimosho Local Government, Oba Babatunde Ogunrombi, has urged Nigerians to embrace peace, and shun violence.

Oba Ogunrombi spoke at a stakeholders meeting with leaders of Arewa community in Alimosho in Shasha.

He said the meeting would educate them on the need to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) following Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC's) extension of the collection deadline.

He urged them to take advantage of the chance to do so to vote and support All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The monarch noted that APC leadership in the state had presented competent candidates to deepen governance at the grassroots, adding Tinubu is the best candidate for the job.

He said they should support APC to actualise five million votes in the state for the presidential election and re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other APC...
