Moffi may ditch West Ham amid many tempting offers

Aclose advisor of FC Lorient's Terem Moffi said there were too many tempting offers for the in-demand Super Eagles striker , adding it is now a question of choice and preference as the departure of the Nigeria international from is imminent this January transfer window.

Moffi is joint second-highest scorer in Ligue 1 this season along with Lille's Jonathan David with 12 goals behind Paris Saint Germain's Kylian Mbappé who has 13 goals.

Two English Premier league sides, West Ham and Southampton as well as French Ligue 1 side OG Nice have openly indicated interest to acquire the signature of the lanky forward but his long-standing confidant said the next destination of his protégé will be confirmed soon.

'The offers are many; and the interests indicated are even more,' the usual taciturn confidant who pleaded anonymity told NationSport in a terse message. 'Lorient are ready to sell. '

At the weekend, Lorient reportedly rejected a pound 15m( about N7.3 Billion) initial offer from Nice who had since upped their bid to pound 18m (about N8.8 Billion) while West Ham tabled an improved pound 25m (about N12.2 Billion) only on Monday.
