Ministry empowers fruit, vegetable sellers

Lagos State Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs has empowered fruit and vegetable vendors in Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) to cut down on post-harvest loss.

Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, said sellers were provided with generating sets, fruit blenders, and refrigerators.

Bolarinwa said the event was organised in collaboration with the LCDA following the training on 'Reduction of Post-Harvest Losses in Fruits and Vegetables in Lagos State'.
