Lorient vs. Monaco: Moffi's striking power worries Monaco coach

Ahead of tomorrow's Ligue 1 away clash against FC Lorient, Monaco coach Philippe Clement is wary of the damage that Nigeria international Terem Moffi might cause the Principality Club at his side's Le Stade du Moustoir.

Lorient under coach Régis Le Bris, has been the Cinderella team of the on-going campaign after defying the odds to sit sixth on the Ligue 1 table with 31 points from 17 matches .

With just two points adrift of fifth place Monaco who has 33 points from the same number of matches, tomorrow's game presents an opportunity for Moffi and co to stake their claim for an European spot on the league table.

Incidentally, Moffi has cracked 10 Ligue 1 goals this season and Clement , the former Club Brugge manager, admitted that the Nigerian cam be a handful for his side, adding he has known the 23-year-old striking power from his days in the Belgian Jupiler League with Kortrijk.

'I can't say that it is a big surprise,' Clement said of Lorient as per Get French Football News. 'I already saw very good things from them last year.
