Ibadan poly students protest increment in fees

The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has lifted the suspension order on the Students' Union Government (SUG).

A statement by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Fawale, said the reversal was to allow for further consultations.

She said the management decided not to use the big stick on the students, as they had sheathed their sword.

Fawale said the management would hold meetings with the leadership of the students 'to address their perceived grievances.'
