DOMINIC Iorfa Snr has said that his son Dominic Iorfa Jnr, is now ready to represent Nigeria 7 years after he said no to a national team call-up.

'I wouldn't want anybody to misunderstand me. The truth is that my son is not ripe for U-23; he's just 19 years, so he needs more time to mature to that level,' Dominic Iorfa Senior said in 2016 when the U-23 coach, Samson Sia Sia handed his son a call-up.

'Moreover, the timing is not good for the young man, he's just getting into the lineup of wolves and there are so many matches for him to play between now and January.'
