Ogun Exco Honours Mandela

Ogun State Executive Council at its meeting in Abeokuta yesterday observed a minute silence in honour of former South African President, Mr. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, who passed on at the age of 95.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who presided over the meeting, prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Mandela, describing him as “a colossus who bestrode the African continent and indeed the world”.
