FUTA student commits suicide

Olona Joseph Oluwapelumi, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure in the Department of Industrial Design,.has committed suicide.

Oluwapelumi, popularly known as 'Black' killed himself at his off-campus lodge in the Aule area of Ondo State capital.

The deceased was said to have hung himself due to depression and financial constraints.

Sources said it was his friends that discovered his lifeless body dangling from the ceiling of his room on Saturday when they stormed his residence after several calls to his cell phone went unanswered.

His neighbours told journalists that they did not suspect late Joseph was struggling...
