The Africa Clean-Up Initiative has increased payment for the plastic bottle collectors.

Its Founder and Executive Director, Alexander Akigbe, said it was the organisation's way of giving back to the people.

According to Akigbe, Coca-Cola Foundation sponsored the project to give them double the value of what they usually earn from plastic bottles.
