Ex-Edo lawmaker, associate regain freedom from kidnappers

Aformer lawmaker representing Esan Southeast constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Festus Udughele, and his associate Andrew Usifoh, who works with the Edo State Accountant-General's office in Benin City, have regained their freedom.

The duo was kidnapped by some gunmen on January 9.

Udughele, the Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Esan Southeast Local Government Area, was released on Friday night together with Usifoh.

They, however, declined to give details of what transpired and were also not forthcoming on whether the kidnappers collected ransoms before...
