Election: APC governors map out winning strategy at Abuja meeting

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has held a strategic meeting with members of the Progressive Governors' Forum (PGF) to review the campaign activities ahead of next month's general election.

The meeting which took place in Abuja, also had in attendance members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council led by the Director-General and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong.

The meeting lasted till the early hours of Tuesday.

The Nation gathered that the meeting was held to review the campaigns so far with a view to re-jigging the calendar and the methodology where necessary.

A source close to those in attendance at the meeting who spoke with our correspondent in confidence said: 'The crucial meeting was more of a family thing.
