EAGLES TRACKER: Debut Serie A goal excites Ebuehi

Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi has expressed his relief at getting his first Serie A goal after 28 league games for both Venezia and Empoli.

But the former Benfica and FC Twente defender affirmed that getting the maximum points at Sampdoria was the most important than ending his goal drought in the Italian top flight.

'I'm happy for my first goal with the Empoli shirt - said the blue side - I've been waiting for this moment for a long time but I'm more than anything else happy for the three points in this match,' Ebuehi told the club's official Website. 'It's an important victory but those with Cremonese and Monza were important too. I think it's very important to score points with those teams who are fighting against relegation.'
