Buhari to flag-off technology innovation expo

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari would on Monday, 16th of January, flag off the final Technology and Innovation Expo for his administration.

The seventh edition of the expo includes presentation of the three best young scientists in the country to Mr President for a Presidential Handshake and award of scholarships to any Nigerian university up to PhD level.

Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation. Chief Henry Ikoh, made this known yesterday at a press conference in Abuja.

He said there would also be the presentation of awards to outstanding research and development products at the closing of the ceremony on Friday, 20th January.

The minister added, 'There will be a presentation of the three best young scientists of Nigeria 2023 to Mr President at the opening ceremony for handshake. Mr President annually grants scholarships to these scientists to study any science course of their choice in any of our universities from first degree up to PhD level.
