Biodun Stephen urges couples to flee abusive marriage

MULTIPLE award-winning film director, Biodun Stephen has advised couples to leave abusive marriages before it's too late.

Stephen noted that once a marriage becomes life-threatening, the best thing to do is run as far as possible to live another day.

She said this while speaking to The Nation during the screening of 'To Freedom', a movie about domestic abuse and drawing the line between love and obsession.
