Benue too rich to be poor, says governorship candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Benue, Rev. Hyacinth Alia, has said the state was too rich for its citizens to be poor.

He spoke at the univeiling of his manifesto titled: 'A strategic development plan for a greater Benue'.

He said if elected, his administration's would focus on security or lives and property, agriculture and rural development , commerce and industry, human capital and social development.

Other areas are infrastructure and environment, information and communication technology ( ICT) and political economy and governance.
