BBTitans should have waited till after polls - Faani

The organisers of the ongoing BBTitans and one of the hosts, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu should explain to Nigerians why the show cannot wait till after the general elections, actress Cha Cha Eke's hubby, Austin Faani has said.

The maiden edition of BBTitans kicked off on Sunday, January 15 with a mix of 10 nationals each from Nigeria and South Africa ushered into the house by the hosts, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka.

BBTitans will end on April 2, 2023 with the winner expected to walk home with a grand prize of $100,000.

Reacting to the ongoing reality TV show, Faani wondered why the organisers couldn't wait for at least a month when the general elections would have been concluded.

The award-winning movie producer stated someday when they have to explain the reason behind their decision to go on with the show which he described as a distraction, he hoped they give valid ones that would make sense to everyone.

'Someday, not soon maybe, Ebuka and BBN will explain to Nigerians why they couldn't wait for just a month as to not distract the Nigerian masses especially the southern Nigeria that engages more in their awesome show from the coming election', he said.

'Just someday, there will be this dialogue, and I hope their reasons make sense and adds positive impact to what everyone in Nigeria is after at the moment.
