Atiku, Ayu visit Plateau PDP accident victims

The presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, has visited victims of the tragic accident involving supporters of the party returning to Mangu from the campaign flag-off of the Central Zone of Plateau State in Pankshin on Saturday.

He visited with National Chairman of the party Senator Iyorchia Ayu during which he donated N30m to the victims.

The accident occurred around Jwak Village, Panyam District, Mangu Local Government Area (LGA) in Plateau State with 16 person's confirmed dead and several injured..

Atiku, Ayuband other eminent personalities were led to the accident and emergency unit of the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) by Plateau governorship candidate of the party Barr. Caleb Mutfwang (BCM), where they met the victims to sympathize with them and pray for their recovery.

Atiku and his team were at the residence of the former Governor Senator Jonah David Jang, to commiserate with him over the tragic incident.
