Assembly okays additional N118.6b supplementary bill on insecurity

Worried by the continued security challenges in Imo State, despite government's efforts to curb it, an Executive Bill has been sent to the Imo State House of Assembly to address the situation.

This was contained in a Bill titled: 'A Bill for a Law to Supplement the 2023 Budget with an Additional Capital Expenditure of N118,550Billion to address the Current and Emerging Security Challenges in the State'.

The Majority Leader and member representing Owerri-West State Constituency, Kanayo Onyemaechi, did the second reading.
