£25m price tag delays Moffi move to West Ham

West Ham might have to wait until the summer to sign Lorient forward Terem Moffi. As previously reported, the Hammers have asked about the availability of the 23-year-old Nigerian, as David Moyes looks to strengthen his team in what has been a difficult season so far.

French side Lorient have set an asking price of £25million for the player who has scored ten goals in 14 games this season.

The Hammers believe this is beyond their budget for the January transfer window, meaning that while they retain an interest in the forward, it looks like they will have to wait to try and bring him to the London Stadium.
