​2023: 'Use your PVC to vote right candidates'

As the 2023 general election inches closer, Nigerians have been urged to vote right by electing credible and competent candidates.

The charge was given at voters' sensitisation and education forum tagged 'know your rights, vote right', organised by team Nigeria for change, in Lagos.

The event had in attendance different party stakeholders and members; representatives from INEC, LASIEC, Nigeria Police Force, others. ??

The convener, Mr. Bestman Nze-Jumbo in his opening remarks, urged participants to replicate the knowledge acquired from the forum, by educating others in their respective areas.

He said: 'This is a voters' sensitisation programme aimed at educating people on what to do on election day. Instead of just using the media, we thought of having a practical event.

'This event is beyond political party affiliation. It is an open event aimed at sensitising and educating the populace about the electoral process. This is part of our contributions to democratic process'

The representative from INEC, Mr. Felix (Head of electoral operations), stated that the commission is ready to conduct the 2023 polls.
