13 PDP supporters die in Plateau auto crash

Thirteen Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters have been confirmed dead in a truck crash along Pushit - Panyam road in Mangu Local government area of Plateau State.

The medical team of the PDP campaign Council confirmed the casualty figure on Sunday.

It said The Jos University Teaching Hospital is managing 24 cases; Nisi Domino hospital in Mangu 20 cases; Infinity Hospital, Mangu 8 cases; Cottage Hospital Mangu 4 cases; Panyam Clinic 8 cases.

The cases at Allah na Kowa in Mangu have all been transferred to JUTH.

The medical team added 64 victims are receiving treatment from the crash.

Families have started claiming and performing the burial rites of their loved ones.
